Soft Washing

Our soft wash process consists of:

  1. An initial saturation of any surrounding plants, grass, flowers, etc. This is to ensure that they are protected from any potential overspray from the cleaning solution applied to your house.
  2. An application of an algaecide/surfactant mix. This breaks down any organics on the surface (mold, mildew, etc.) and loosens debris (spider webs, dauber nests, dirt).
  3. After a short dwell time, a thorough low to moderate pressure rinse to rinse both the cleaning solution and debris from the surface.
  4. A final post-cleaning saturation is applied to surrounding vegetation to rinse any potential overspray.

Soft Washing is the standard method for cleaning most homes. Compared to pressure washing, it is more effective at cleaning delicate surfaces and reduces the potential for damage to siding, removal of paint, etc. significantly. The process entails a low pressure application of cleaning agents and then a thorough low pressure rinse.
